The subject most parents need help with is homework help math
has changed over the years and the math I learnt at school is very
different from the math the kids are learning nowadays. I usually can
still get the correct answer but the way I go around getting the answer
is different. So really I am not much use at helping my daughter with
This is where homework help comes in.
I am looking for a program or a site with a problem solver that will do the math problem and show me all the steps along the way. This way I can figure out what is going on. There are a number of very good websites that will help you with math problems. Some are good some are not so good and some take a lot of time to navigate. The learning curve is too long just to learn how to find your way around the website.
Finding new sites can be very time consuming.
If you don’t have time to spend looking at websites try an online tutor service. The service I recommend is Tutor.com because it has been around for a while and you can use it as an on call service. Just call them up when you need them. You don’t need to use the service all the time. If you are really stuck ask one of your children’s classmates who knows what is going on to tutor your child.

One day when my daughter was in the 4th grade she came home with this boy from her class and they sat down and did the numbers. After they had finished she asked me for $5 to give the boy, so I did. After he had left she said she now understood the math. That was the cheapest lesson I had ever paid for and it was one of the best. Try it sometimes it works. Also for math try Khan Acabemy they are very good training vidos available free on youtube. And they cover nearly everything do to with maths right from beginner to advanced.
