                                                                                                  Female Dog Names

Coming up with a new female dog name to call the latest addition to your family can be loads of fun but where do you start.

When trying to come up with a new name for your girl dog just play around with the a few new names first. Try and get something easy to say because you could

be saying it for the next 10 – 15 years. And when your lovely little bundle of fun grows up is the name still appropriate. In other words don’t call your dog a silly little puppy name that will not suit a grown up dog. Also get something easy to say as you will be saying it quite a lot, 1—2 syllables is alright.

Anyway if you start off with a long name you’ll end up shortening it.

The new title should not be the same or similar to anybody else’s name in the house for obvious reasons. You call a name and everybody comes running. When getting down to the nitty gritty of the name, do you color code a name like ‘Chocolata’ or ‘Rainbow.’ What about a generic name like ‘Bambi’ or ‘Queeny.’ Or your favorite jewel, ‘Sapphire’ or ‘Emerald.’

There are many names out there, I use this British website http://www.dog-names.org.uk/female-dog-names.htm they have got lots of names to choose from. You can even use countries or places like ‘Sahara’ or ‘Jamaica.’ Anyway after you have named your new pet it is time to stock up on supplies and these are the shops I use.
