Find out How Your Children Can..... "What You Need To Know To Survive The Future" |
As the computer and the internet have invaded our lives so has online homeschooling. Over the years homeschooling
has embraced the best that distance learning has evolved into and online
homeschooling is no different. I checked out a few different full
service online schools and was
amazed at
Even the most expensive is a lot cheaper than what public schools get funded for each student and that is about $7500 a year. For private Catholic school the lower end was about $4000 a year and the top end could be any amount you want to pay. So homeschooling is a lot cheaper but you have to do everything yourself. When choosing online homeschooling you have to realize that you pay for one year and if you don’t like it, well you do get some kind of refund. So pick your online homeschool carefully. I’ve never used a complete full year online homeschool but I have used many different courses from different schools. I like the flexibility of doing that.

One online homeschool Ron Paul has a free class and I recommend you should try it out. Homeschooling has come along way, and I do think there will be a place for the online homeschool in the future for some families. I like the freedom of homeschooling therefore I don’t like to be tired to a schedule. I am going to hook my kids up to an online class where you actually see the teacher in real time preferable from a webcam installed in a real classroom as soon as I find one. Even with all the online help I still prefer some offline courses and the best one for teaching reading is a Montessori Teaching Reading and Writing ecourse. It did wonders for my daughter. Anyway for more information about online homeschooling and other homeschooling products see our Homeschooling Page.
