Homeschooling today is a lot easier than a few years ago
Homeschooling today is a phenomena that is catching
on and is growing at over 15% a year but that means only about 2% of
all school aged kids are homeschooled.
There are many reasons why parents
choose to homeschool and homeschooling today is a lot easier
than a few years
The main reason homeschooling today is a lot easier is technology and the internet. With the internet anything you need is just a few clicks away and the amount of information available about homeschooling today is phenomenal. Also you can download all your teaching material and even how to teach it and in most cases it doesn’t cost very much. I am waiting for internet video to become popular and even voice chat.I thought both of these would have taken off by now especially for homeschooling. Instead of getting on a blog or forum and leaving a message you should be able to do live talk or if you are really game, live video. To Homeschooling Parents And Parents of Children who are having Problems Learning to Read Have A look At Three Free Videos About How to Teach Your Child To Read Video 1: Introduction To Montessori Reading. Video 2: How To Make Sandpaper Letters. Video 3: How To Teach Reading Using Sandpaper Letters As has been said many times before 'a picture tells a thousand words' and these free videos do just that. They are easier to understand as you can see how to make sandpaper letters then how to teach using them. Fill In Your Email To Go To The Video Page Then click the confirmation email in your email box. You can unsubscribe at any time. I do not like spam. I will not sell, give away or rent your email address. There are already virtual schools available but I think they detract from the freedom of homeschooling, so I do not know if they will become popular. One thing I am hoping will happen, is you should be able to find and download classes your kids can watch but not in real time. This allows for a lot of flexibility. Now you can download university classes for free from some universities. I am waiting and hoping that you soon will be able to do the same with primary school classes. Also some teachers could have a video cam set up in the classroom and your kids could join in the class on the internet. I don’t know of anybody doing that at the moment but it will happen. The internet is changing life as we know it. For more information about our homeschooling products and services see our Homeschooling Page. To have a chat to other parents and to find out more about learning to read go to our forum.Thank you for your time
