Gifted children are usually into self directed learningSo you just have to get them started and away they go learning by themselves. If you can show your gifted child how to learn then you are effectively turning yourself into a director. You will have to teach the basics like how to read and math, Then your child can transform themselves into a learning machine. Even gifted children need to play so let them.Bring on the educational toys and let them figure things out for themselves. With some subjects you will have problems so talk to your homeschooling group and see what they can come up with. Alternatively you can hit the Blogs and forums and you will find someone in the same situation as you. If your gifted child excels in one subject do not neglect the rest.
