Teach Your Children To Read And Write With This Time Tested System

Parents!! Are you sick and tired of watching your child struggle with reading and writing?

Read what some teachers and parents have to say about the ecourse

My daughter was having serious problems at school. The school wanted her checked for dyslexia or ADHD or anything they could think of but I wouldn't have it. I knew she had problems but I didn't want the school dictating to me. So I went on a hunt for something to help my daughter.  I brought a few books but they didn't do any good. Then I tried this course and things started to happen. My child liked the feel of the letters and I think that made the difference. Now she is on her way and is about to start reading by herself, but it takes time.                                                   Mrs. C. Thompson

I got hold of this course and things started to happen. Kathy loved the sandpaper letters. After tracing the letters they seemed to stick in her mind. So it didn't take long, about a term,  before she was near the top of her class. But we put a lot of time in, and now I'm glad we did.                                                                           Kathy's Mum

I've been teaching kindergarten kids in China for 4 years and I needed something to help the kids learn to write and read. I tried a number of products and books but nothing seemed to work. Then I found this ecourse and it has been quite amazing. Making the sandpaper letters was not easy, but after that the kids just loved tracing the letters. I must admit it helped them to start reading and writing. They can now make up words after I say the word. And I don't even work in a Montessori kindergarten.                                                                                                                mcwillians_bob@yahoo.com

Hi, I’m Peter Legrove and for the last 12 years or so, I have been standing in front of a classroom teaching English.

In that time I’ve seen many wild and wacky, and some good ways to teach reading and writing, and I’ve tried out a few.

I’ve found some do work on a few kids, but they still leave a lot of kids struggling.

Can a hundred year old system do what some schools fail to do?

That is why I resorted back to a system that has been in use for nearly a hundred years, and is still teaching kids to read and write today. Maria Montessori introduced this system to the world when her book "The Montessori Method" was published in English in 1912.

Her system has passed the test of time.

Why can something so out-of-date teach so well?

Check out what this article on the CBS News website from September 29, 2006 has to say about Montessori Schools.                                                                   "Do Montessori Schools Have An Edge"                                                         Children At Montessori Schools Develop Faster In Reading And Math.

"The 5-year-old Montessori students were found to have better reading and math skills, than their peers who attended traditional schools."

 http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/09/28/health/webmd/main2050676.shtml

So it looks like a teaching system that has stood the test of time, is still making waves in the education world of today.

Is your child getting left behind at school?

Schools nowadays are very competitive places.                                                   Kids are there to make it, but some get left behind.

Actually quite a large number get left behind. According to the U.S. Department of Education, National Center for Educational Statistics, "Executive Summary," of The 1998 National Assessment for Educational Progress Reading Report Card for the Nation, NCES 1999-500 (Washington, D.C.: March 1999).

“Thirty-eight percent of 4th graders cannot read a simple poem.”

Is your child one of them?

Even the 2005 Reading Assessment didn’t show any remarkable improvement. It has basically remained the same for the last 15 years. No serious improvements at all.

Do your children struggle with reading?

Have you watched your child struggle, and I mean really struggle to try and read a simple paragraph. And have you wondered, like I have, whether you struggled like that when you were learning to read.

I know learning to read is quite difficult. But I don't remember it being that difficult. What has happened with the schools of today.

Is the hype over the Whole Language Reading System really true or is the Phonic System the way to go. When I went to school the teachers taught me to read using Phonics. And I'm glad they did. Because  my reading is quite good.

But what has happened since I went to school.

Why is there is a serious problem with kid's and reading today?

Reading could be taking a backseat to the computer and the TV.

Is it because of the TV and DVDs, or the computer and its games. We had TV and video and we still managed to read. Maybe the computer is taking up a lot of time. But, do kids really just waste time playing computer games.

To find out how to use a computer game to  teach reading. Click here.

I don't think so. There must be something else. Maybe it is just not enough time. So we need a faster way to learn to read.

There is no simple way.

You just don‘t take a pill and miraculously start reading and writing.

Life is not that easy.

The ability to read and read rapidly is what makes or breaks a student in the school system of today. Everything else hinges on this one ability. It is the weakest link in the learning chain. That is what makes it the most important, because it affects all other aspects of learning.

If the child is lagging behind in reading skills then they will get left behind. That is it. There are no ‘buts’, ‘ands’ or ‘ifs’. That’s about the truth of it. If the kid can’t read, that’s it. They slowly and steadily fall behind until they are so far behind they cannot catch up.

In most cases children can improve their reading skills, but it takes time and effort. You have to put in the time to get results.

There is no easy way.

Is the modern education system getting you down?

Have you had enough of the modern reading and writing methods that have left a large number of kids struggling through the school system?

Has the ‘phonics verses whole language’ war that has plagued the education system finally got to you?

Are you sick and tired of bumbling bureaucrats that are more interested in sitting in the limelight than having an effect on education?

Is the school system of today getting to you?

Do the Phonics verses Whole Language reading programs make any sense to you?

Can your child keep up in class?

Well our ecourse is just for you.

It is a complete system and at the end of it your child should be able to read and write like the best of them.

So what do you do?

You can take things into your own hands. Take more control over your kid’s education. And that means you as teacher. You have to intervene and start teaching your kid.

But where do you start?

First you can Google it or Yahoo it and see what’s out there.

Then you can Amazon it or hit the bookshops.

There is a lot out there so how do you choose.

What program do you need?

You need a program that will guide you through the writing and reading process.

Something relatively easy you can follow.

Also you will need teaching aids.

Why not make your own or let your children make them.

Therefore, you will need printable templates for teaching aids.

Something pretty simple you can print off your computer then cut out.

There is an easy to follow printable section that contains templates for letters and shapes at the end of the ecourse in section 3.

The letter and coloring shapes templates. In the ecourse there is a single letter per page.

Also you will need to know a little bit about teaching, but not much. The course contains easy to follow lesson plans in section 2. We start you off and then when you are confident, you take control and make up your own lessons.

To have a look at some lesson plans, just fill out your name and email address below and hit the submit button and the ebook is yours. As a bonus you will also receive my "Golden Rules Of Teaching" over the coming weeks.

What happens when you start teaching your children?

A benefit of teaching your own children is it brings the family together.

You have more of an understanding of where your child is in school, other than looking at the school report card.

You can keep track of your child’s writing ability instead of just looking at his homework and schoolwork.

You take more control of your child’s schooling therefore you know what is going on and how well or otherwise your child is doing at school.

You can take pride in teaching your child instead of complaining about the school’s ridged way of teaching.

And after it is all over and your child can read and write, you can proudly say “I did that. I taught my little girl to read and write”

Today, more than ever, reading is crucial to your child’s success.

Just imagine, your child coming home from school with a report card filled with ‘As’ and ‘Bs’.

How would your child feel?

How would you feel?

You’d feel exceptionally proud, and your child would think he or she is petty terrific.

They wouldn’t have to worry too much about schoolwork.

Homework would be a breeze.

More time to play and more time to read books.

No hassles with the teachers.

No worries about being bottom of the class.

They’ll be loved by their teachers.

Do you know why your child’s report card is all ‘A's and ‘B's?

Reading and writing.

That is why.  Because your child has mastered the art of reading and writing.

Reading is one of the deciding factors in how well your child can do at school.

And also, it’s because of you.

THE PARENTS

You made the decision to help to teach your children to read and write.

Now that simple decision is paying off.

All the hard work. All the tears and all the laughter.

All the coloring pages of shapes your children colored in.

You still have the best, most perfect, colored in pictures in a special folder.

All the sandpaper, handwritten, alphabet letters that you painstakingly cut out.

And the first words your children wrote. They are also in the special folder.

Phonics are a lot easier than most people think.

There are a whole bunch of lesson plans that guide you through the teaching process, making it easy for you. You go from the first lessons, that get you set up with the four-step process to more advanced lessons where you control the content.

After you have mastered the four-step process you can make up lessons as you go.

Even if you have spent too much time on a keyboard and have forgotten how to write. Don’t worry. There are little arrows on the template letters showing you which way to write the letter.

Who shouldn’t get this course for their children?

Now, our course is not for the parent who wants everything set up for them, so they can sit back and relax. No! If this is you, this is definitely not the course for you. With this course you have to get involved, learn a bit about how to teach.

And you have to get your hands dirty, so as to speak. You have to make things.

Simple things like sandpaper alphabet letters and ordinary letters.

We supply the templates and you have to do the rest. Like trace the letters, glue the letter onto the back of a sheet of sandpaper then cut out the letter. Anyway if your kids are old enough, let them make the letters. Just have a look at Lesson 2 there are complete instructions on how to make sandpaper letters.

No, this course is not for the parent who does not want to get involved in their children’s education. You have to learn phonics. But we teach you how to say the letters. It is all laid out for you in Lesson 3.

Is writing going the way of the dinosaur?

It seems, with the invasion of the computer and the keyboard, the humble pencil is now taking a back seat to modern technology. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Schools nowadays, are embracing new technology And why shouldn’t they. It makes life easier. But we still need to be able to write. A shopping list, a short love letter in a Valentines Day card, or just writing in your daily diary. Things you just can’t do on a laptop.

Latest news from the Washington Post.

See what the Washington Post has to say about the future of handwriting in their article The Writing Is On The Wall.”

“When handwritten essays were introduced on the SAT exams for the class of 2006, just 15 percent of the almost 1.5 million students wrote their answers in cursive. The rest? They printed. Block letters.”

But the part we are interested in is:

A group of first-graders who could write only 10 to 12 letters per minute.

The kids were given 15 minutes of handwriting instruction three times a week. After nine weeks, they had doubled their writing speed and their expressed thoughts were more complex.

Students who remain printers, rather than writing in cursive, need more time to take notes or write essays for the SAT.

www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/10/10/AR2006101001475.html

There it is, the children who write in cursive wrote much faster and had better thought processes.

If you want your child to write faster and more beautifully, then this course is for you. And especially when it comes to the SAT exams, your children need all the help they can get.

If they can write faster and more clearly, then that could be the deciding factor.

With the Montessori way of teaching reading, the children learn to write as a bonus. It is something that just happens, because of the way the reading program is set up.

In the course we show your children how to write without actually writing.

Now is the time to invest in your children’s future.

Education nowadays is not cheap. For a private internet tutor you will be looking at $10 dollars an hour up. For face to face tutoring you are looking at a lot more than this.

So why can’t you, the parent, become a part-time teacher. This way you’ll save some money and take control of your child’s education.

For only $18.97 you could be teaching your children and watching them climb up the education ladder.  As they progress at school their love of learning will increase. Making you proud that you took the first step by buying this course therefore starting your children on the road to school success.
